[ncl-install] ncl cannot be run under cygwin in 64-bit windows 7

Dear All,

I downloaded the cygwin version of NCL 5.2.0 binary, and successfully uncompressed it under cygwin. I run ncl after I did some environmental settings, however, it didn't work, I meant there were nothing coming out, no error or warning messages, just went back to the command prompt, for example,

>ncl <returen>

>

I don't know why it doesn't work, my windows system is 64-bit windows 7, perhaps ncl is compiled on 32-bit platform and cannot be run on 64-bit platform. Could you please give me some suggestions? Thanks.
