      If possible could the latest and greatest version of MET be installed

the NOAA machine Gaea please :-).

Sherrie,

I see you're hoping to have METv8.1 compiled on Gaea.  Julie
Prestopnik is
the person with access to that computer and she is out of the office
until
next Tuesday.  She'll have some catching up to do, but I'm guessing
she'll
be able to get it installed by late next week or very early the week
of the
17th.  I am assigning this ticket to your so she can update you when
it's
done.
