Andrew,

I see that you're running through the MET online tutorial using a
Docker
container.  Looking at the existing tutorial navigation, I see how
this
could be confusing when using a Docker container.  The last page of
the
compilation menu is labelled "Tutorial Setup":

setup/compilation/tutorial-setup

And that's where we have you pull sample data and create input/output
directories.  Please follow the instructions on that page.

And I'll go work on the tutorial instructions now by moving the
"Tutorial
Setup" instructions up one level.
