[Met_help] [rt.rap.ucar.edu #77597] History for metviewer import of .vsdb files

Hi,

I'm getting spun up with getting verification stats into our local
metviewer, and the .stat files seem to be working perfectly.  The .vsdb
files got ingested, and the experiments in the .vsdb files show up in the
list of possible models.  However, when I attempt to plot something like
GSS that should be possible with the FHO type .vsdb data, I get a plot
without data (e.g.,
http://metviewerdev.ncep.noaa.gov/plots/plot_20160817_190625.png)  It
doesn't seem to complain about anything on the screen, so I'm clueless
about what is wrong.  Was an extra step needed to preprocess the .vsdb
files and make them more metviewer friendly?
