----------------------------------------------------------------
  Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------

Good morning -

Tara suggested this was probably the best route to get this on your roadmap
so here goes - could you please take the dockerfiles that have been
generated for MET and post them to Docker Hub?

Backstory:

I'm interested in using Singularity container framework to help deploy MET
to DoD supercomputing systems, where Singularity (not Docker) is supported.
Singularity has the ability to build off Docker containers, but with current
restrictions I'm limited to containers downloaded via Docker Hub, and not
from other sources (e.g. the container-dtc-met github repository). My plan
is that once the container is posted to Docker Hub, I can work on generating
a Singularity container that we can then move to our other compute systems
and be able to run MET tools there, supporting an ongoing project
spearheading MET adoption as our recommended tool for verification.

Please let me know if you have questions or need more information - thank
you!

Tim

Subject: Please post MET docker container to docker hub

Tim,

My apologies for the long delay. We'd never actually pushed to docker
hub... but once I tried this morning it was pretty easy.

You can pull met-8.0 using:
*   docker pull dtcenter/met:8.0*

Please let me know if you run into any issues.

Thanks,
John
