  Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Colleagues,

I installed METviewer and tried to load a MET output file into a mysql database.
When I run the mv_load.sh command, I got the following error:

[root at 356e1fd08e0f METviewer]# bin/mv_load.sh xml/load_test.xml
---- MVLoad ----

Begin time: 2019-07-03 01:40:22

                    data file time: 0:00:00.024
For input string: "0.81622"
** ERROR: caught class java.lang.Exception loading file /data/grid_stat_000000L_19700101_000000V.stat: caught SQLException calling executeBatch: (conn=457) Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
java.lang.Exception: caught SQLException calling executeBatch: (conn=457) Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
** WARNING: error(s) encountered loading file /data/grid_stat_000000L_19700101_000000V.stat - skipping file
==== grid_stat ====

However, it seems the data have eventually been loaded and I was able to see the loaded variables from the web page at http://localhost:8080/metviewer/metviewer1.jsp and make plots.

So I wonder if the above error message about “skipping file” is just a warning and therefore does not affect the METviewer run? Or has a part of the file has been skipped and therefore the loading is not complete?

Could you please advise? The xml file and the .stat file have been attached here.

Thanks
Shaowu

Julie,

I would like to let you know that I have found the cause of the
problem: I am trying to load MET-v8.1 output data into METviewer2.9,
which are incompatible.
I changed to MET-v8.0 and the METviewer2.9 worked well. Problem
solved.

Thanks,
Shaowu
