Dear MET compiler:
Hello, I am a graduate student from GUOU,China. I recently tried to use the
met software, but there were some minor problems during the installation.
Google has no way to ask for help many times.
When I compiled BUFRLIB, there were some problems. When I ran the third
step in the README

, I had this problem

! So I took a look at Google and found that "Non-numeric character in
statement label at (1)" is not in free format, so I added -ffree-form, but
there is still such a problem

, I changed a device, This is also a problem in a workstation, I look

First, what version of BURFLIB are you working with? Please be sure
you are
using version 10-2-3. MET is not yet compatible with BUFRLIB version
11.0.0.

Hello, I downloaded the version of V11 before, so there are some
problems,
I just followed what you said, download V10, and then install, the
first
step has such a result

steps,
[image: image.png]this is the final result. Will the first question
affect
the follow-up work? (Because I installed it on the server again, there
is
no such error on it！, I look forward to your reply.

It’s very troublesome to bother you again. I have compiled to HDF5
according to the compilation process on the website you gave me, but
when I
compile HDF5, there is always one when doing make check.

image.png] I have encountered the same problem on all three computers,
my
download path is /usr/local/, after extracting the file, the
installation
path is /usr/local/hdf5-1.10.1, I want to know this problem Is it
related
to my installation path!Please tell me the correct installation path,

My apologies for the delayed response.
It is difficult to tell what might be going wrong from the images.
Could
you please instead attach your config.log file and your make.log file
for
HDF5?
I have been using hdf5-1.8.18 for our MET installations, which you can
access here, if you'd like to give that a try:
