Hi there,

I am trying to add METplus wrappers to the AQ verification, and I am
starting with hourly ozone.  My first stab was unsuccessful, and I think
it's because I didn't lead the script to find the right directory.  May I
have some assistance?

Here is some helpful information:

The METplus configuration file is:
/meso/save/Perry.Shafran/METplus-1.0/test_conf/aq.conf
The PB2NC config file is:
/meso/save/Perry.Shafran/METplus-1.0/parm/met_config/PB2NCConfig_aqm
The point_stat config file is:
/meso/save/Perry.Shafran/METplus-1.0/parm/met_config/PointStatConfig_AIRNOW
The obs file is:  /com/hourly/prod/hourly.YYYYMMDD/aqm.t12z.prepbufr.tm00
The model file is:
/gpfs/hps/nco/ops/com/aqm/prod/aqm.t{$cyc}z.awpozcon.f${fhr}.148.grib2

I think that's all the  information that you'll need at this time.  Let me
know if there is more you need.

The METplus code has been modified to handle the needs for your
previous
METplus case, and I have been working on getting that case to work,
however, I am not yet finished.  Would you like me to continue to work
on
that case or switch gears and work on this case instead?

Hi, Julie,

Do you think it will be a quick fix or a long-fix?  I need to present
a use
case for air quality at the upcoming MET workshop, but maybe that
won't be
done in time even if you were to start working on this now.  I might
need
guidance from Tara before I can answer that, so in the meantime,
please
proceed with your current work and I will ask Tara what she thinks.
