  Initial Request

Good morning,

Question: Does the *log and *png files generated in the "tcmpr_plots"
directory
(based upon using master_metplus.py -c .../METplus/
parm/use_cases/track_and_intensity/track_and_intensity.conf
ie;PROCESS_LIST = TcPairs, TCMPRPlotter)
contains the exactly same data information?

Also, How can I read a *png file?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

The .png file is an image file, the .log file is a text file which
contains
useful information (the level of information is determined in the
LOG_LEVEL
in your config file. DEBUG is the most verbose and is typically used
for
debugging, INFO is sufficient for most users). You can view your .png
file
by either clicking on it (if you are on Windows or Mac) or if on Linux
or
Unix, you can use ImageMagik (enter 'display' <.png filename> at the
command line).

Regards,
Minna
