----------------------------------------------------------------
  Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------

Hi John,

I just tried to load the MET module on Cheyenne following the web page:

~>module use /glade/p/ral/jnt/MET/MET_releases/modulefiles/

~>module load met

*Lmod has detected the following error: * The following module(s) are
unknown: "netcdf/4.3.3.1" "intel/12.1.5"

Please check the spelling or version number. Also try "module spider ..."

It is also possible your cache file is out-of-date; it may help to try:

  $ module --ignore-cache load "netcdf/4.3.3.1" "intel/12.1.5"

Also make sure that all modulefiles written in TCL start with the string
#%Module

Executing this command requires loading "intel/12.1.5" which failed while
processing the following module(s):

    Module fullname  Module Filename

    ---------------  ---------------

    met/6.0
/glade/p/ral/jnt/MET/MET_releases/modulefiles/met/6.0Executing
this command requires loading "netcdf/4.3.3.1" which failed while
processing the following module(s):

    Module fullname  Module Filename

    ---------------  ---------------

    met/6.0          /glade/p/ral/jnt/MET/MET_releases/modulefiles/met/6.0

When I check intel and netcdf, it appears intel/12.1.5 and netcdf/4.3.3.1
no longer are on Cheyenne?

~>module spider intel

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  intel:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

     Versions:

        intel/16.0.1

        intel/16.0.3

        intel/17.0.1

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  For detailed information about a specific "intel" module (including how
to load the modules) use the module's full name.

  For example:

     $ module spider intel/17.0.1

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

~>module spider netcdf

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  netcdf:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

     Versions:

        netcdf/4.4.1

        netcdf/4.4.1.1

     Other possible modules matches:

        netcdf-mpi  netcdf4-python  pnetcdf

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  To find other possible module matches execute:

      $ module -r spider '.*netcdf.*'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  For detailed information about a specific "netcdf" module (including how
to load the modules) use the module's full name.

  For example:

     $ module spider netcdf/4.4.1

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks,

Andy

Andy,

You accidentally ran the module instructions for yellowstone instead
of
cheyenne. Unfortunately, their environments are pretty different.
Please
try running "module purge" first, like this:

module purge
module use /glade/p/ral/jnt/MET/MET_releases/cheyenne/modulefiles
module load met

Does that yield better results?

Thanks,
John

Everything is
fine now.
