Hi,
I am having trouble reading grib1 file with MET6 and using plot_data_plane.
FIles are located in Theia under : /scratch4/NCEPDEV/global/
noscrub/Partha.Bhattacharjee/MET6/1Degree/control3/ngac.20150914
I am trying to read record 1, total AOD in those files but giving error "No
exact match found for VarInfo". Any help.

Hi Partha.
Thank you for your patience. I lost access to theia for a short
while, but
now have access again.
I was unable to reproduce the message that you received. I was able
to run
the following successfully (after running "module use
/contrib/modulefiles"
and "module load met"):
plot_data_plane
/scratch4/NCEPDEV/global/noscrub/Partha.Bhattacharjee/MET6/1Degree/control3/ngac.20150914/AOD550.2015091400
AOD550.2015091400.ps 'name="AOD"; level="L0";'
Please give that a try and see if it works for you. Does that
accomplish
what you wanted?

Thanks Julie, I did put the exact command before but it did not
produce any
ps file. Anyway, as it is working now, it is fine.
