Initial Request

Hi, I'd like to request that a new project's data be added to the METViewer
database. I'd like to call the project "noaa_aq_ens" with a model name WRF.
All the .stat files are bundled in this file on yellowstone:
/glade/p/ral/wsap/jaredlee/NOAA_AQ_Ensemble/MET/3mem_ens/3mem_ens.stat.tar.gz
If you need additional information from me, please let me know, and please
let me know when the data is ready for plotting in METViewer. Thanks!

Jared,
Probably the easiest thing would just be to grant you access to our
project
machine named "dakota". You can pull the MET output down there and
then
load it into METViewer (which actually lives on mandan).
Unfortunately, we don't currently have a way of loading data directly
from
yellowstone into the METViewer instance that lives on mandan.
Please check to see if you already have access to dakota.rap.ucar.edu.
If
not, please send an email to SNAT requesting access and cc me as well
as
Laurie Carson.

Sure. Start by creating a directory in /d3/projects for your data.
Pull
it down from yellowstone. And then let's meet and I'll step you
through
loading it into METViewer.
