Initial Request

Hi John.
this is the query reg the plot of mean error, MAE, RMSE etc.
I have model o/p of Rainfall in nc format . the resolution of model O/p is 9km while I have observations at 50km (gridded).
Can U guide me how I can I make the plot of above parameters???.

Hello. I am not familiar with plotting NetCDF data from MET. John is
out
of the office this week, but will return next week. John will get
back
with you as soon as he can.
Thanks,
Julie

Geeta,
I'm really not sure what you're asking here. It sounds like you have
forecast and observed precipitation data in NetCDF format, and you'd
like
to plot various statistics.
Are you perhaps trying to compute statistics at each individual grid
point
over some time series of data? If so, you could use the series-
analysis
tool to do that. But you'd first need to get all your forecast and
observed data onto the same grid. And you'd need to put it into a
NetCDF
format that MET can handle, i.e. CF-compliant NetCDF or make it look
like
the NetCDF output of the pcp_combine tool.
Hope that helps get you going.
Thanks,
John
