[Met_help] [rt.rap.ucar.edu #64445] History for a question for the mode output

sir:

i have succesed to run MODE and some output as the ps file and txt file

but the name of file  is not named as the time but the 19700101000

just as "mode_000000L_19700101_000000V_240000A.ps"

what is the wrong have i meet?

Zhaob,

Sorry for the delay in returning your helpdesk request.  I see that
you've successfully run MODE, but that you're getting an unexpected
timestamp in the MODE output file.  That likely means that MET
is having a problem reading the timing information from the variable
attributes in the forecast and/or observation NetCDF files.  However,
when I tried to inspect the NetCDF files you sent, I got
errors when trying to run the ncdump and ncview utilities.  Perhaps
the files were corrupted when you sent them as email attachments.

Can you please try resending your data by posting it to our anonymous
ftp site.  Please send the forecast file, observation file, and the
MODE configuration file you're using.  You can follow these
instructions:
