Initial Request

Dear Sir
Could you please help me in writing WrfModeConfig file for MODE tool for
multiple variables. I am writing like this
fcst_field =
"33/P100","33/P200","33/P400","33/P500","33/P600","33/P700","33/P850","33/P1000","34/P100","34/P200","34/P400"
,"34/P500","34/P600","34/P700","34/P850","34/P1000","11/P100","11/P200","11/P400","11/P500","11/P600","11/P700","11/P850","
11/P1000","7/P100","7/P200","7/P400","7/P500","7/P600","7/P700","7/P850","7/P1000";
obs_field =
"33/P100","33/P200","33/P400","33/P500","33/P600","33/P700","33/P850","33/P1000","34/P100","34/P200","34/P400",
"34/P500","34/P600","34/P700","34/P850","34/P1000","11/P100","11/P200","11/P400","11/P500","11/P600","11/P700","11/P850","1
1/P1000","7/P100","7/P200","7/P400","7/P500","7/P600","7/P700","7/P850","7/P1000";
But it is giving me error message like this
config() -> syntax error in file "Mode/WrfModeConfig"
line = 48
econfig_column = 22
text = ","
Please help me out.
Thanks and Regards,

Hashima,
Some MET tools are set up to verify multiple variables in a single
run, like the Grid-Stat and Point-Stat tools. However, the MODE tool
is designed to be run on a single variable/level. If you'd
like to run it on multiple variables, as you've shown below, you'll
need to set up one config file for each variable/level.
Keep in mind that the thresholds you use to define objects should vary
based on the type of field you're looking at.
There are a lot of configurable options for MODE. And it only really
makes sense to run MODE on fields that look like objects themselves.
We've run it most frequently on precipitation data which
lends itself nicely to using objects. But MODE doesn't work as well
for more continuous fields, like temperature, which don't contain nice
object features.
If you want to learn how to use MODE, I'd suggest starting with
accumulated precipitation. The forecast and observation fields need
to be on the same grid. One easy way to get started would be to
compare your model output files to themselves. For example, compare a
36-hour forecast to a 12-hour forecast initialized a day later.
That'd give you some data to play around with.
Hope that helps.
