Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------
We have recently upgraded to METv3.0. When I run grid_stat I get the
following error:
grid_stat_Conf::read(const char *) -> can't get symbol table entry for
variable "interp_flag"
I looked at the source code and found interp_flag only showing up in the
ensemble config file which I am not using. Attached Is the config file I
am using. What would trigger this error?
Thanks
Bob Craig

Bob,
The interp_flag setting is used in the grid_stat config file in
METv3.0. Please see the default grid_stat config file,
GridStatConfig_default, in the METv3.0 source distribution subfolder
data/config. Unfortunately, there are several
other changes in the config file format between v2.0 and v3.0. The
easiest path may be to start with a copy of the
default config file for v3.0 and apply your settings to it rather than
to try and modify a v2.0 config file to be
compatible with v3.0. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Paul
