[Met_help] netcdf forecast file support in point_stat

Darren,

MET uses netcdf as an intermediate file format, but it does not directly
accept the netcdf output of WRF.  Before feeding WRF data to MET, you
must first run it through the WRF post-processor.  This step
interpolates the WRF output from a staggered grid to a regular grid and
to vertical pressure levels.
