Bob,
I want to verify that you're running the MET-MODE online tutorial from here:
http://www.dtcenter.org/met/users/support/online_tutorial/METv2.0/mode/index.php
All of the input data this tutorial uses should be located in the
METv2.0/data/sample_fcst and METv2.0/data/sample_obs subdirectories.
In addition, the tutorial instructions assume you're running the tutorial
from the beginning. And I believe the MODE portion uses the output files
generated by the PCP-Combine tool. Please try running the following
before running the MODE tutorial instructions:
(1) Tutorial setup:
http://www.dtcenter.org/met/users/support/online_tutorial/METv2.0/compilation/test_scripts.php
(2) Run the PCP-Combine steps:
http://www.dtcenter.org/met/users/support/online_tutorial/METv2.0/pcp_combine/index.php
(3) Run the MODE steps:
http://www.dtcenter.org/met/users/support/online_tutorial/METv2.0/mode/index.php
Hopefully that'll solve your problem.
Thanks,
John Halley Gotway
