[Met_help] MET Point_Stat

Hello, I am interested in implementing MET in our lab using WRF-ARW output
and point observations.  However, I will be doing this outside of the CONUS
(Middle East).  I have not heard any mention of MET's Point_Stat program
handling international observation data.  Before I get excited and put MET
(beta for now) on our machines, I would like to know if my international
data verification project can be handled using MET?!?
