[Grad-postdoc-assn] Dr. Susannah Burrows - Scientific Collaboration for Fun and Profit

Hi All,

Next Tuesday, July 17 at 2 pm (before the fellows tea at FL), Dr. Susannah
Burrows will be discussing tools for being an effective collaborator.

Dr. Burrows is a Scientist in the Atmospheric Sciences and Global Change
Division at the DOE Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and is a recent
recipient of a 2018 DOE Office of Science Early Career Award. A brief
abstract for her talk is below.

Abstract:
Developing strategic and effective collaborations can be a key element to
success in a scientific career, not to mention rewarding and fun!  Share
your experiences and learn about tips and tools for effective
collaboration.  The workshop will touch on topics such as how to identify
and approach potential new collaborators, how to be a good collaboration
partner, and how to effectively manage collaborations to achieve positive
and productive outcomes for everyone involved.
