[Go-essp-tech] ESGF systems at risk 07:00-17:00 PDT today

The PCMDI servers ESGF will be down today from 07:00-17:00 PDT (15:00-01:00 UTC).  During this time ESGF will be partially inoperable:

1. http://pcmdi9.llnl.gov will be unavailable
1. PCMDI OpenIDs will not work
1. Authentication for download of CMIP5 data will not work

However search at other ESGF index nodes will work and users should be able to generate wget scripts.  Alternative index nodes include:
- http://esgf-index1.ceda.ac.uk/
- http://esgf-data.dkrz.de/
- http://esg-datanode.jpl.nasa.gov/
- http://dev.esg.anl.gov/
- http://esgf-node.ipsl.fr/
