Hi Karl,
there was a file in the NCI ESG search directory called
/projects/r67/CMIP5/published/CMIP5/output/CSIRO-QCCCE/CSIRO-Mk3-6-0/1pc
tCO2/mon/ocean/Omon/r1i1p1/v20110518/tos/tmp/tos_Omon_CSIRO-Mk3-6-0_1pct
CO2_r1i1p1_000101-014012.nc
which was manually deleted. We asked our NCI ESG folk to provide us
with a list of files that are published and it showed up - I think the
ESG scanning software needs to be run again? That was the only
discrepancy between the data in the published area and what the ESG
scan discovered.
In your list of gateways below (with text like missing CSIRO-MK3-3
model)
the official model name is CSIRO-Mk3-6-0
Originally the final 0 was not required, however, we have created
another version (minor change) of the model for internal use where the
0 is changed to a 1 to illustrated that they are different. As we do
not expect to submit its data to CMIP5 from this other model (which I
hesitate to type down incase it gets somehow used!) we did not use the
rip naming conventions as it may have just caused added confusion.
and so further down in your list
> Official model_id model name appearing in filename
>
> CSIRO-Mk3.6 CSIRO-Mk3-6
needs to be changed to
CSIRO-Mk3-6-0 CSIRO-Mk3-6-0
I think this is right but Stephen or Leon will respond if not.
On a separate note
> ACCESS ACCESS
will probably be updated to a slightly different name as we get closer
to having complete experiments suitable for CMIP5 file generation and
submission, essentially to reflect a version. We have a local meeting
on Wednesday and I will stress the importance of "locking in" on key
metadata as changes or vagueness can have big downstream ramifications.
Regards,
Mark.
