[Go-essp-tech] transition from local to ESGF permission to access CMIP5 output

Dear all,

This morning I asked whether the users would be inconvenienced when they 
switched from being granted access to a dataset by a node manager to 
being given access as a member of the CMIP5 user group (which is managed 
by ESG).  Bob Drach has convinced me this will not be a problem, but I 
thought I'd let you know since I promised to send a question to this 
group about this concern.
