[Go-essp-tech] GridFTP Port Ranges required

Hello,

No, there's no reason to not use port 7512. When I was working on PCMDI, I was told to use 2119 because that port was already open and 7512 was not.

If 7512 is an option, I suggest using it!

-Neill.

Hi Neill,

A question on MyProxy: I've used the default port 7512 for the installation. Any reason to use 2119? Happy to change to this if that is what we are all standardising to.

Cheers,
Phil
