The Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Appalachian
State University is searching for a tenure track Assistant Professor of
Coastal Processes scientist, with application review beginning on *01
November 2026*. We seek a candidate whose research broadly covers Coastal
Processes. This candidate will develop and teach new upper-level courses on
1) Coastal Processes and 2) Physical Oceanography for majors to complement
the current departmental curriculum.
