[ES_JOBS_NET] Two fully funded PhD positions in Atmospheric Physics & AI at UNIL

Dear colleagues,

I am opening two fully funded PhD positions in our research group in atmospheric physics and AI at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).

The positions are funded for up to 5 years, including salary (CHF 54k/year), research travel, equipment, and compute. Candidates are encouraged to propose creative project ideas that connect their own interests with the group's research. These ideas will serve as starting points for discussion and will be developed collaboratively during the selection process and PhD.

Position 1 requires proficiency in both English and French. Applications should be submitted by June 15, 2026, with a tentative start in September/October 2026.

Position 2 requires proficiency in English only. Applications should be submitted by September 15, 2026, with a tentative start in March 2027. Applicants to Position 1 will automatically also be considered for Position 2 unless they state otherwise.
