*Postdoctoral Fellowship Program Announcement *

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the Coastal and Marine Sciences 
Institute (CMSI) at UC Davis is now accepting applications for our 
*Postdoctoral Fellowship Program*.

This fellowship aims to attract bright, creative, and collaborative 
early-career scientists who are interested in developing new lines of 
inquiry while engaging with the diverse coastal and marine sciences 
community at UC Davis.

Fellows are encouraged to pursue novel or emerging research directions 
that extend beyond the core research focus of any single host group. The 
program is designed to provide fellows with the intellectual 
independence and collaborative network needed to launch innovative 
research trajectories. Prospective fellows are encouraged to explore the 
research of CMSI faculty and reach out to prospective mentors to discuss 
potential collaborations.

*Fellowship Highlights:*
● Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Fellows will work with at least two 
UC Davis faculty mentors to bridge existing research programs.
● Unique Resources: Dual residency/engagement at both the Davis main 
campus and the Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML).
● Community and Leadership: Fellows will contribute to the intellectual 
life of CMSI through seminars,workshops, and mentoring of undergraduate 
students.
● Funding: Two years of salary and benefi ts, plus up to $15,000 in 
research and engagement funds.
