atmospheric, and earth system research*. You will help address scientific
challenges by translating, developing, and optimizing AI/ML workflows and
neural networks, and by deploying scalable solutions on modern HPC and
GPU-accelerated systems.

This role offers exciting opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration
across AI, weather and climate science, mathematics, statistics, economics,
and public policy. You will contribute to a new high-impact AI and climate
computing initiative in collaboration with NVIDIA, Argonne National
Laboratory, and different University of Chicago institutes and initiatives,
including the Data Science Institute, the Development Innovation Lab, the
AI for Climate initiative, and the Human-Centered Weather Forecasts
initiative, supporting next-generation climate and Earth system AI research
and infrastructure development.
