The Li Research Group at the University of Delaware is seeking a highly
motivated PhD student to join a newly funded USGS research project
investigating the sorption, biotransformation, and transport of per- and
polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in coastal wetlands. The position offers
an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of environmental
chemistry, hydrology, and microbiology while contributing to research with
direct implications for ecosystem management and public health. The PhD
student will participate in both laboratory and field research and
collaborate with researchers from the USGS.

Applicants should be highly motivated, independent, and interested in
environmental research. Familiarity with microbiology through coursework or
research is desirable, and prior research experience in geochemistry and/or
environmental science is a plus.

Interested applicants should send a CV, a brief statement of research
interests and experience, and unofficial transcripts to Dr. Mi-Ling Li (
milingli at udel.edu).

Please feel free to share this opportunity with potential candidates who
may be interested.
