*Postdoctoral Researcher in Sea-Level Variability and Prediction*
The University of Hawai‘i Sea Level Center is seeking a full-time
Postdoctoral Researcher in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, to study the mechanisms,
predictability, and impacts of coastal sea-level variability. The
researcher will work with Matthew Widlansky and the UHSLC team on projects
involving ocean model analyses and forecasts, in-situ and satellite
sea-level observations, water-level extremes, NOAA’s Coastal Ocean
Reanalysis product, and emerging AI-assisted tools for geoscience research.
Broader collaboration opportunities will include work led by Christopher
Little (JANUS Research) on Gulf Coast water levels. Applicants should have
a PhD in physical oceanography, atmospheric science, computing science, or
a related field, with strong data analysis and communication skills. Apply
