Project Manager
Earth Observation seeks a Project Manager!

KSAT is seeking a Project Manager within the Emerging Products and Services
team which is part of the Earth Observation division. The department
focuses on developing new services, solutions, supporting and leading R&D
projects and delivering on multi-year framework contracts for public
institutions such as ESA and the EC and supporting our customers within the
energy and environment sectors. Our Project Managers are expected to
establish a strong relationship with our clients and work closely with them
to fulfil project requirements whilst also having the flexibility to
support the development and improvement of new and existing services to
complement KSAT's maritime and land-based products and services. Selected
candidates will be part of a highly professional team that serves a global
market.

Main responsibilities:

   -

   Managing a portfolio of service delivery projects and ensuring
   fulfilment of contractual obligations towards our clients
   -

   Project coordination and reporting and proposal writing
   -

   Providing technical support to our sales team and customers
   -

   Supporting operational teams with new service set up, processing and
   training
   -

   Cross team/division technical coordination where relevant to project and
   product management
   -

   Input into technical development discussions related to improvements to
   existing solutions and developments to new services to optimize procedures
   and processing methodologies.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years' experience working with
Earth Observation data, preferably with a Bachelor of Science degree
(Remote Sensing, Earth Science, GIS, Geography, Environmental Management or
similar). A postgraduate degree in Earth Observation / Remote Sensing or
similar Geospatial field is preferred but not required.

It is required to have a good technical knowledge of satellite Earth
observation and use of EO data (optical and SAR) - experience with both
maritime and land applications is advantageous. Additionally, it is an
advantage to have experience with image processing techniques and
processing software (ESA SNAP, ENVI, Catalyst, GDAL or other similar
software).

In this role you will also have close contact with our customers. Previous
experience managing or coordinating projects such as from ESA or EU Horizon
will be seen to be advantageous. Additional experience from product/service
development projects would be valuable but not essential.

You must be fluent in English, both oral and written.
