The Grassland Sciences Group at ETH Zurich (Department of Environmental Systems Science) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher (80–100%, up to 3 years) to work on forest CO₂ and water vapor flux partitioning within the INETFLUX project, a collaboration between ETH Zurich, WSL, and CzechGlobe. The project focuses on developing knowledge-guided machine learning approaches to partition ecosystem fluxes and understand environmental controls on forest carbon and water exchange across European sites.

The position involves work with eddy-covariance data, dendrometer and sap flow measurements, and machine learning methods, along with collaboration across partner institutions and a research stay at CzechGlobe.
