The University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) invites applications for the position of National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) Assistant Coordinator.



This position will:

  *   Oversee Daily Program Operations - Direct day-to-day operational, administrative, and site management activities for NADP, including equipment oversight, site documentation, quality assurance coordination, supply purchasing, and ensuring proper setup or closure of monitoring sites.
  *   Develop and Implement Program Processes - Create and maintain standard operating procedures, tracking systems (e.g., databases and Google Sheets), and reporting tools; support audits and program reviews; serve as liaison with key field and agency partners.
  *   Coordinate Meetings, Trainings, and Events - Lead planning and logistics for the annual Spring Scientific Symposium and other NADP meetings; manage registration, abstracts, publications, schedules, and committee business activities; support internal manager meetings and workshops.
  *   Manage Communications and Outreach - Oversee NADP listservs, website updates, social media, annual publications (calendar, summary report), awards coordination, and stakeholder communications to ensure effective information dissemination across the NADP community.
  *   Supervise and Support Staff - Exercise supervisory authority over Program Office (PO) and Analytical Lab (NAL) staff, including performance reviews, scheduling, training, mentoring, and ensuring alignment with NADP strategic goals.
