The University of Arizona's Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research is pleased to announce that we are inviting applications for a Lead Laboratory Coordinator (Laboratory Coordinator III). This full-time position will oversee daily laboratory operations, safety, equipment, and inventory; supervise and mentor students; assist visiting researchers; and collaborate with faculty to develop innovative analytical, computational, and imaging methods in support of research, grants, education, and outreach. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, at least five years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience), and experience in a research laboratory or similar setting. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in a related field and experience with dendrochronology, student supervision, R or Python, computer vision or machine learning, and high-resolution imaging.
