We are pleased to announce two 34-month postdoctoral researcher positions funded by the Simons Foundation within the collaborative ACCTS project (“Assessing cirrus cloud thinning strategies by learning from aerosol-cirrus interactions in natural and perturbed conditions”), jointly led by Université de Lille and Sorbonne Université.

1. Postdoctoral researcher in aerosol-cirrus interactions from satellite observations
- Location: LOA, Université de Lille (France)
- Focus: Identification and analysis of pollution-driven cirrus events using satellite observations and reanalyses; quantification of radiative impacts.

- Focus: Implementation and testing of ice nucleation schemes in WRF-Chem/CHIMERE, simulations from case studies to hemispheric scales, evaluation with satellite observations.
