Dr. Jiachen Zhang<https://sites.usc.edu/jzhang/>’s research group at the University of Southern California (USC) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher and a Ph.D. student to join ongoing and upcoming projects focused on urban climate, air quality modeling, and policy assessment. We’d greatly appreciate your help in sharing this announcement with potential candidates who may be interested.
Our group investigates how energy and transportation policies, such as those promoting electric vehicles, affect urban climate, air pollution, health, and environmental equity. We also work on advancing PFAS simulations, smoke transport modeling during wildland–urban interface fires, and machine learning applications for atmospheric data integration.
