As a successful candidate, you will combine your expertise in compiling and analyzing (geostationary) satellite datasets with km-scale simulation data and have the autonomy to set your own scientific emphasis. As team member for the ERC Starting Grant "MesoClou", you will work with PhD students and a fellow postdoc. You will also become an integral part of the Multiscale Cloud Physics Group currently being established by Franziska Glassmeier at the Max-Planck-Institute for Meteorology.
The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology is a multidisciplinary center for climate and Earth system research located in Hamburg, Germany.
