The Department of Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences
<https://geoearth.charlotte.edu/> at UNC Charlotte seeks motivated *M.S.*
and *Ph.D.* students in *Fall 2025*.
Both positions are funded, focusing on Satellite Remote Sensing of clouds,
aerosols, air quality, and the climate system. Our research group (link
<https://sites.google.com/view/ian-chang/>) focuses on the climate
interactions among aerosols, clouds, and radiation from satellite
observations to address climate change and air quality. Ideal candidates
should possess skills in the following:
· Proficient computer programming
· Data analysis (statistics, time series, mapping)
· Strong writing and oral communication skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
