We are looking to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor / Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences (DAES)<https://www.albany.edu/daes> at the University at Albany<https://www.albany.edu/>. We seek candidates with backgrounds in terrestrial water systems (land surface hydrology) or snow and ice (cryospheric processes) who will perform research under the supervision of a current DAES faculty member, with the goal of developing an independent research program. This is a 12-month position that is expected to be two years in duration and may serve as entry point for a tenure-track faculty position in DAES.
