The Northern Territory Geological Survey (NTGS) is looking for a Project
Geologist to join their Basement Geoscience Team based in Alice Springs,
Australia.

Closing date: February 18, 2025
Salary (AUD) $90,204–$107,554
Flexible working arrangements
6 weeks recreation leave per year

Primary objective:
Undertake a range of geoscience projects to build knowledge of the geology
and resource potential of the Northern Territory.

Essential Criteria:
1. Honours or higher degree in geoscience from a recognised university

2. Demonstrated experience in undertaking regional-scale, multidisciplinary
geological framework and/or mineral and/or energy systems studies.

3. Demonstrated experience in the acquisition, QA/QC, processing of
geoscientific data and integration in a GIS environment.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to a technical and
non-technical audience and a demonstrated ability to write and review
evidence-based scientific reports.

5. Demonstrated ability to contribute to effective team outcomes and the
timely delivery of project outputs.
