In addition to receiving fully funded competitive financial support to broaden career opportunities for graduate school or industry and prepare for the next career stage, successful candidates from diverse backgrounds will receive training, mentorship, and professional development while working on relevant societal and community-based research projects; enroll in classes as non-degree seeking grad students or MS students within the Network of institutions; conduct community engagement and outreach, fieldwork; participate in summits and project meetings; collaborate with other PB and MS students and work alongside faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and community organization leaders and members.
Stipends cover tuition, fees, health insurance, books, and living expenses. Applicants with families and/or financial needs and from groups underrepresented in Geoscience are strongly encouraged to apply.
