[ES_JOBS_NET] Two tenure-track Group Leader Positions for the Climate Solutions Hub

 Dear colleagues,

I would like to share a call for two tenure-track Group Leader positions within the Climate Solutions Hub, a novel collaboration platform set up by Empa and Eawag in Switzerland. The Hub aims to explore how innovative climate mitigation and adaptation approaches like NetZero construction techniques, resilient urban water systems, or blue-green infrastructure scale from niche applications to broader systemic impacts. By working at the interface of the social sciences, engineering and natural sciences and in close collaboration with stakeholders, the Hub will develop innovative ways to analyze and support innovation scaling dynamics.

For the Hub, we are opening two senior research positions with a potential for long-term tenure in fields that are highly relevant for (economic) geographers:
1) Modelling implementation potentials and scaling trajectories of innovative climate solutions
2) System and business innovation for climate-positive infrastructure solutions

The two positions offer a unique opportunity to establish an independent research group which combines basic research with real-world impact. And they are embedded in a highly innovative, purpose-driven research environment within the ETH Domain.
