The possible research scope of the position includes (but is not limited to) wildfire, water resources and climate, and/or natural hazards/extreme events. The School seeks to hire a physical scientist who pursues societally relevant research that helps better understand variability and change in Earth systems as well as interactions and feedback between humans and the environment. Specific areas of research include, but are not limited to wildfire, climate and water resources, land use/land cover change, and/or natural hazards.
