The Earth & Environmental Sciences Department is looking to hire a TT
Assistant Professor in Hydrology for Fall 2025.
This tenure-track position carries responsibilities in the areas of
teaching (lower and upper division undergraduate courses in the major,
general education courses, graduate courses), scholarship (dissemination,
grants, mentoring, etc.), and service (student advising, committee
participation, community outreach, etc.). Teaching assignments are based
upon the interests, and qualifications of the individual and the needs of
the department.
Experience with learning assessment techniques, instructional technology in
the teaching-learning process, and roles of faculty in attracting and

approaches to engage undergraduate and graduate students to confront local
problems of Northern California as well as societal issues and global
challenges related to water.
Faculty in the department are enthusiastic about working hands-on with a
diverse group of environmental science undergraduate and graduate students.
They each have experience in practical applications of their scientific
discipline.
Initial review of applications begins on 12/2/2024.
