Student will have the option of MS in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Coastal and Marine System Science
An MS opportunity is available with the Felix Research Group in the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. The first year includes a research assistantship (RA) and tuition with potential for renewal and/or teaching assistantship (TA) support. As part of the RA support, the student will work with current graduate students to maintain and calibrate federal reference method (FRM) air quality instrumentation and create air quality reports for city and state agencies. The student will have multiple options for their thesis project in the areas of atmospheric chemistry, air quality, air-sea exchange. Potential students should be highly self-motivated and have a strong background in chemistry or environmental science. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in air quality and air quality measurements. Ability to acquire a US driver’s license is required.
This position is slated to begin in January 2025 but could potentially start at the beginning of summer 2025 depending on the qualified candidate’s availability. The student will have the option of pursuing an MS in the Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Coastal and Marine System Science programs. Interested candidates should contact Dr. J.
