The Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Connecticut (Storrs) invites applications for a non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor starting in Fall 2024. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s entry-level earth science curriculum by teaching traditional and themed introductory earth sciences courses. We seek a dynamic and motivated individual who is enthusiastic about the opportunity to lead large lecture courses and dedicated to facilitating inclusive and engaging classroom environments. This is a nine-month position. Although this position is teaching-focused, the successful candidate will be encouraged to continue their scholarly research and collaborate with current faculty.
