Geostatistician/Data Scientist

Join Our Team:

We are currently seeking a Lead Geostatistician/Data Scientist who will
play a pivotal role in enhancing our data analytics, particularly in
certifying product geographical origins and growth conditions using
isotopes and other geochemical markers.

Role Overview:

As a key member of our scientific team, you will:

   -

   Develop innovative statistical and AI methodologies to safeguard product
   integrity and reduce supply chain risks.
   -

   Offer scientific acumen across business units, enriching FloraTrace’s
   array of risk management solutions.
   -

   Collaborate with company leaders to bolster FloraTrace’s growth
   initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

   -

   Craft and implement predictive tools to decipher patterns, extract
   insights, and optimize operations.
   -

   Lead initiatives to refine processes, enhancing productivity and
   performance.
   -

   Resolve challenges that hinder the delivery of our risk management
   solutions.
   -

   Collaborate closely with science and sales teams to design experiments
   and sampling plans.
   -

   Communicate complex scientific and statistical concepts in an accessible
   manner to clients and non-experts.
   -

   Coordinate with fellow scientists and software engineers to maintain
   synergy across departments.

Requirements:

   -

   An advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) or equivalent professional experience.
   -

   Proven expertise relevant to the role.
   -

   Self-driven with an independent work ethic.
   -

   Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
   -

   Ability to work at the speed of business with an understanding of the
   production environment.
   -

   (Preferred) Familiarity with analytical chemical data as well as the
   application of isoscapes in geochemical data exploration and interpretation.
