Hi all,

I am volunteering with a new Canadian faculty-led initiative, Palestinian
Students & Scholars At Risk (PSSAR https://pssar.ca). PSSAR has helped
facilitate over 35 funded graduate scholarships in Canada and the US,
including fully-funded PhD admissions, for Palestinian students. We find
that there is a surprising amount of flexibility off the admissions cycle
if a willing faculty member has the funding to accept an exceptional
applicant.

We have a need for more faculty members with funding, and student
volunteers, to support Palestinian student applications.

We currently have over 250 Gaza applicants in all fields for both students
and scholars. Interested faculty members can sign up at professors.pssar.ca.
Students who are interested in volunteering to work closely with the
applicants in Gaza can also sign up: https://pssar.ca/get-involved.

You'll notice that the website is very Canada-centric; however, all efforts
will go to wherever we can get a good match for these students. We have
already had success at several US universities, and we are working on
opportunities in Europe, Asia and Australia.

If you have any inquiries, please contact us at info at pssar.ca, or feel free
to write to me personally.

Thank you!

Morgan
