Postdoctoral scientist position at Washington University in St. Louis
One postdoctoral scholar position is available in Prof. Jian Wang's group in the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. The research will focus on understanding aerosol processes and aerosol-cloud interactions in marine environment by combining WRF-Chem simulations and measurements from recent field campaigns. The successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in atmospheric science, engineering, physics, chemistry, or related field and strong background in large-eddy or regional/global modeling of atmospheric aerosols and clouds. Familiarity with high-performance computing, demonstrated commitment to publication of results, strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work as part of a research team are required. Demonstrated experience in using the WRF-Chem model is highly desirable.
