Dr. Xiaomeng Jin’s group (https://xjin49.github.io) at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Rutgers University is seeking 1 to 2 fully funded PhD students beginning in Fall 2024. Potential research projects include:
* Ozone pollution under changing emissions and climate
* Impacts of wildfires on ozone-NOx-VOC chemistry
* Developing air pollution exposure estimates via integrating satellite remote sensing, models, and in-situ measurements
* Applications of remote sensing observations to identify communities disproportionately affected by air pollution
Prospective students with a background in atmospheric science, environmental sciences/engineering, remote sensing or other related fields are encouraged to apply.
